Emma Kelsey
Award: $1,000 DSHS Educational Foundation Scholarship
While at Dubuque Senior High School, Emma was involved in the following: volleyball, Key Club, NHS, FAST tutoring, large group speech, and theatre productions. She was also a member of Thespian Troupe #69. One of Emma's most memorable moments from Senior was performing in the drama department's production of Xanadu this past spring. Emma plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa to major in biology.

Foster Hull
Award: $1,000 DSHS Educational Foundation Scholarship
While at Dubuque Senior High School, Foster was involved in the following: soccer, cross country, speech, NHS, and marching band. A memorable part of Foster's high school career was when he went on the San Antonio, Texas, trip with the Senior Band. Foster plans to attend Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.

Mariah Clay
Award: $1,000 DSHS Educational Foundation Scholarship
While at Dubuque Senior High School, Mariah was involved in the following: Track & Field, Volleyball, Cross Country, Battle of the Books, Symphony Orchestra, NHS, Silver Cord, Speech, and Peer Helpers.
Some people that made Mariah's time at Senior memorable were her two closest friends, Bella Holthaus and Molly Strohmeyer. They made her time in school so much more special with every school event they attended together.
Mariah plans to attend Northeast Iowa Community College.

Katherine Theis
Award: $1,000 Arline Dieterich Memorial Scholarship through the DSHS Educational Foundation
While at Dubuque Senior High School, Katey was involved in orchestra and choir.
For Katey, a memorable person from her time at Senior is Mr. Geyssens. Katey will always remember his willingness to help her expand her musical talents and pushing her to go outside her comfort zone.
Katey plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa to major in Music Education.
While at Dubuque Senior High School, Katey was involved in orchestra and choir.
For Katey, a memorable person from her time at Senior is Mr. Geyssens. Katey will always remember his willingness to help her expand her musical talents and pushing her to go outside her comfort zone.

Jillian Manternach
Award: $1,000 DSHS Educational Foundation Scholarship
While at Dubuque Senior High School, Jillian was involved in soccer, volleyball, student council, key club, NHS, student ambassador, Model UN, speech, green team, theatre, and battle of the books!
One of her most memorable moments at Senior was when she traveled to the state capital for a Model United Nations conference! She had the opportunity to meet a lot of amazing people from around the state while getting the chance to talk about global topics of mutual interest in the same place where Iowa legislators make state decisions.
Jillian plans to attend the University of Virginia to major in international relations and minor in a foreign language.

When it comes to a memorable person during her time at Senior, Abigail would like to recognize Mrs. Friedman. Mrs. Friedman taught Abigail's British Literature class senior year, and the class culture she cultivated ranks her course in Abigail's top 3 classes of all time. Abigail likes that Mrs. Friedman encouraged students to laugh and be loud, while somehow also managing to keep them all on track and learning.
Abigail plans to attend the University of Missouri's honors journalism program.
